Brands aggregator GlobalBees hikes stake to 74% in 2 units of Brainbees Solutions

SoftBank-backed Thrasio-style e-commerce rollup startup GlobalBees has made further investments of INR 105.15 crore and INR 1.05 crore in Frootle India and Wellspire India, which are step-down subsidiaries of the company. With these investments, GlobalBees Brands hikes its stake from 51% to 74% in both companies.Frootle India and Wellspire India operate in the home and kitchen appliances category under the brand names 'Frootle' and 'Wellspire', respectively. Frootle reported a turnover of INR 309.72 crore in FY24, while Wellspire clocked INR 15.49 crore.
