Canada's QYOU Media to acquire influencer marketing co Chtrbox

Toronto, Canada-based QYOU Media, which operates a free-to-air channel The Q in India, is to acquire Mumbai-based influencer marketing company Chatterbox Technologies (which operates under the brand Chtrbox). QYOU will first acquire a majority stake in Chtrbox with a three-year earn-out. Chtrbox offers end-to-end influencer content solutions, including a pool of over 300,000 influencers from celebrities, social media stars, Gen-Z creators to micro and nano influencers. It will continue to run as an independently positioned brand while benefiting from QYOU Media's complementary businesses including The Q, and its influencer marketing group in the US. Chtrbox's founder & CEO Pranay Swarup and COO Julie Kriegshaber will continue in their leadership roles.
