Capillary Technologies acquires US-based loyalty solutions co. Brierley

Bangalore-based customer engagement software provider Capillary Technologies has acquired Dallas (TX), USA-headquartered Brierley+Partners, which provides loyalty solutions to global brands, from Japan-based Nomura. This is Capillary's fifth acquisition globally and second in the US, in line with its efforts to expand into the North America market. Its previous acquisitions include US-based customer experience firm Persuade, machine learning startup Ruaha Labs, digital commerce solutions provider MartJack, and e-commerce technology services provider Sellerworx. Founded in 2012, Capillary Technologies is a customer loyalty platform that offers a comprehensive view of consumers, and unified, cross-channel strategies that deliver a real-time, omnichannel, personalised, and consistent experience for customers. The company claims to work with more than 250 brands, including Tata, PUMA, Shell, Al-Futtaim, Petron, Domino's, Kanmo Group, and Marks & Spencer. It claims to have presence in the US, India, the Middle East, and South East Asia and is backed by Warburg Pincus, Sequoia Capital, Avataar Ventures, and Filter Capital. Capillary had been looking to list on Indian bourses and even filed draft documents to raise INR 850 crore through initial public offering in December 2021.
