Care Hospitals buys 70% stake in United Ciigma Hospital

Hyderabad-based Care Hospitals has acquired a 70% stake in Aurangabad-based United Ciigma Hospital in a transaction reportedly worth over INR 400 crore. Advay Capital Advisors was the exclusive financial advisor to United Ciigma and its promoters for the transaction. The deal brings to Care, a presence in 3 cities in Maharashtra - Nagpur, Pune and Aurangabad - with a capacity of over 600 beds, including two super speciality tertiary care facilities in Aurangabad, that are focused on oncology, gastroenterology and cardiology.
