Cars24 acquires vehicle info platform CarInfo in Rs.400-Cr deal
Gurugram-based used car platform Cars24 has acquired Delhi-based vehicle information management startup CarInfo in a cash and stock deal valued at INR 400-425 crore.Founded in 2019 by Sahil Ajmani, CarInfo operates a mobile app and platform for vehicle owners to manage all aspects of vehicles providing RTO info, challan payments, insurance renewal, service history, FASTag management, and tools to buy/sell vehicles aimed at simplifying vehicle ownership and management.The acquisition aims to integrate CarInfo's offerings into Cars24's services. CarInfo will continue to operate as a standalone application while also becoming part of Cars24’s superapp.
