Chip design co. Cientra acquired by Accenture
New York, USA-headquartered listed IT Services and consulting company Accenture is to acquire Bengaluru-based silicon design and engineering services company, Cientra . (The deal closely follows Accenture’s acquisition of anther Bangalore based chip design firm Excelmax )Founded in 2015, Cientra brings consulting expertise in embedded IoT and application-specific integrated circuit design (ASIC) and verification capabilities.
For FY23, Cientra had reported about INR 93 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 14 Cr in PAT.
