Crystal Crop Protection acquires flower & vegetable seeds focused I&B Seeds

Delhi-based Crystal Crop Protection has acquired the Bengaluru-based I&B Seeds . The target company is claimed to be a prominent player in the flower and vegetable seeds market having leadership position in Marrigold seeds with Indus and SPS brand. Hyderabad based Artha Arbitrage Consulting advised I&B on this transaction.This is Crystal Crop’s 12th acquisition and the fifth in the seeds business.

For FY24, I& B Seeds had reported about INR 123 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 21 Cr in PAT.Between Nov-11 and Oct-22, Crystal Crop had raised about USD 65 M from Everstone and IFC.
