D2C grooming player Macobs Tech acquires majority stake in protein supplement brand Getmymettle for

Jaipur-based men’s grooming brand Menhood’s parent Macobs Technologies is to acquire a 50.01% stake in New Delhi-based health- and wellness-focused D2C (direct-to-consumer) brand Getmymettle for INR 10.5 crore. The company bought 1.49 lakh equity shares of the D2C brand’s parent Dhanta Wellness Pvt Ltd, at INR 707.2 per share. The deal is expected to fructify within a month.Founded in 2023 and under the umbrella of nutrition product manufacturer Swasthum, Getmymettle offers protein-focused food supplements like whey protein, energy bars, protein bars, and peanut butter. The brand’s turnover for the fiscal year FY25 declined 32% YoY to INR 13.4 crore, while its PAT reduced 60% YoY to INR 1.6 crore.The acquisition comes a month after the D2C brand raised INR 42.2 crore by issuing 24.8 lakh convertible equity warrants from investment firms Pinnacle Investments and Capital Vision, investor Raman Talwar, and promoter and CBO Divya Gandotra.
