New Delhi-based DCM Shriram acquires 53% stake in Delhi-based DNV Global Private Limited for INR 44 crore - INR 31 crore by fresh issue of equity share and the rest INR 13 crore through purchase of equity shares from the existing promoters.Through this acquisition DCM Shriram aims to backward integrate into the windows and doors business sector and to create a new line of business (hardware) for the Fenesta division of the company.Founded in 2008, Dnv Global is a leading UPVC hardware manufacturer in India. The company has a manufacturing unit in Haryana and sells through the country as well as exports to Asian countries
