Delhivery acquires US-based drone firm Transition Robotics
New Delhi-based Delhivery, a logistics services player, has acquired Santa Cruz, CA (US)-based Transition Robotics Inc., a company focused on developing Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) platforms. All IP registered in the US have been assigned to Delhivery with this transaction, strengthening its capabilities in a wide range of applications, including aerial photography, remote sensing, inspection, and surveys. TRI, founded in 2011, brings a decade of experience with all aspects of small UAS, from hardware and software design to testing, validation, and manufacturing.
