Dhoot Transmission acquires auto-focused electrical parts maker Multilink

Bengaluru-headquartered Multilink, a manufacturer of electronics and electrical products for two- and three-wheeler original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) has been acquired by Dhoot Transmission, an electrical and electronics company backed by Bain Capital.PwC acted as financial advisor and Trilegal provided legal advice to Dhoot Transmission. Spice Route Legal served as legal advisor and Aeka Advisors acted as financial advisor to Mulitilink.Multilink supplies OEMs with a product portfolio that includes chargers, sensors, relays, and switches. The company operates three manufacturing facilities in Hosur, Mysore, and Manesar.
