Dhunseri Tea acquires 2 estates from Apeejay Tea for Rs.109-Cr

Publicly listed Dhunseri Tea and Industries Ltd is to acquire Hapjan and Budlabeta tea estates of Apeejay Tea Ltd located in Tinsukia district in Assam for about INR 109 crore. The two estates produce black tea - in CTC and orthodox grades.
