Dixon to acquire 51% in handset components maker Q Tech India

Publicly listed Dixon Technologies is to acquire a 51% stake in Delhi-based Kunshan Q Tech Microelectronics (India) through a combination of primary and secondary investments.The acquisition will allow Dixon to expand into the manufacturing and supply of camera and fingerprint modules for mobile handsets, IoT systems, and automotive applications.The firm’s Chinese parent, Q Technology (Group) Company, is a manufacturer of mid-to-high end camera modules and fingerprint recognition modules for intelligent mobile terminals.
