Dutch delivery co Borzo acquires last mile delivery startup NOW
Amsterdam-based Borzo, a same-day intra-city delivery service for business, has acquired Noida-based NOW, a 90-minutes delivery service. NOW is present in 8 cities and enables restaurant and pharmacy chains, aggregators, ecommerce and D2C brands to deliver orders to their own customers quickly. It does close to 2 million orders a year for companies such as KFC, Pizza Hut, Apollo Pharmacies, and Amazon with its fleet of over 1,500 riders. NOW's founding team of Vivek Pandey and Bharat Khandelwal has earlier worked with Flipkart and Times Internet. The current management will continue leading the company and expects to exceed 5 million deliveries in 2022.
