E-commerce enabler GoKwik acquires WhatsApp chat commerce co Tellephant

GoKwik, an e-commerce enabler has acquired omnichannel communications specialist Tellephant. With this acquisition, GoKwik has launched its third product KwikChat on WhatsApp, catering to multiple use cases across the e-commerce funnel. Brands can use KwikChat to power conversational commerce backed by GoKwik's checkout experience and return-to-origin (RTO) intelligence. Founded in 2020 by Krishna Pinapatruni, Suhas Entur, and Varun Kapoor, Tellephant claims to have enabled over 300 e-commerce brands to sell and provide support through WhatsApp.
