French auto co. Renault to buy out 51% stake from JV partner Nissan

French car maker Renault will acquire alliance partner Nissan’s 51% stake to fully control manufacturing operations in India run by JV Renault Nissan Automotive India Pvt Ltd. (RNAIPL). Post transaction, RNAIPL will become Renault’s wholly-owned subsidiary.Nissan will continue to use the manufacturing infrastructure, even after it exits the JV.
