Fresh produce supply chain Ninjacart acqui-hires SaaS-based communication platform Tecxprt

Fresh produce supply chain startup Ninjacart has acquired Bengaluru-based Tecxprt, a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS)-based communication platform. The entire team of Tecxprt will join Ninjacart as part of the deal. The acquisition would help the Flipkart-and-Walmart-backed Ninjacart digitise its operations and facilitate real-time communication across the food supply chain. Founded in 2015, Ninjacart operates in mainly in Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Delhi and Mumbai. It procures fresh fruits and vegetables directly from farmers and supplies them to retailers, hotels, restaurants and even apartment complexes.
