Ghost Kitchens India acquires foodtech startup Where's the Food
Mumbai-based cloud kitchens firm Ghost Kitchens India (GKI) has acquired foodtech products company, Where's the Food (WTF), in an equity-swap deal. Harshendar Reddy, the founder of WTF, will join GKI as the CTO and head the development of a B2B app that will facilitate the automation of various aspects of hotel business operations and management. This will include on-boarding process, inventory management, finance reconciliations, operational intelligence, communications and tracking sales growth. WTF has been developing and operating a Restaurants Management tech stack which grew to 1000+ restaurants in just 6 months with an extensive customer base in India, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines and Sri Lanka. Prior to WTF, Harshendar established Bharat Delivery, an aggregator of all hyperlocal delivery services (like Dunzo, Shadowfax, Delhivery, Uber, etc.) and Pitchers, a college-campus based online food delivery platform.
