Godrej Consumer buys Raymond's consumer products business for Rs.2,825-Cr

Godrej Consumer Products Limited is to acquire the FMCG Business of fellow publicly listed Raymond Limited for INR 2,825 crore. The deal includes the sale of trademarks Park Avenue Deo, KS Deo, Kamasutra and Premium. The Raymond Group will retain its condom manufacturing facility and will continue to do contract manufacturing in Aurangabad, Maharashtra for both domestic and international markets.
