Godrej unit buys food additives biz of Goa-based Savannah Surfactants
Godrej Industries' chemicals business has completed the acquisition of the food additives business of Goa-based Savannah Surfactants .The Savannah business will be part of its specialty chemicals sector. Godrej is a player in oleochemicals, surfactants, specialities and biotech sectors and this transaction will help the company expand its product offerings to the food & beverages (F&B) segment globally.Savannah Surfactants has a manufacturing capacity of 5,200 MTPA of finished products.
