Grocery retail chain Mitra merges with Tierra Agrotech in Rs.787-Cr deal

Delhi NCR-based Mitra has merged with Hyderabad-based Tierra Agrotech in a transaction valued at INR 787 crore. The combined entity plans to list on the BSE by September 2026. Bestvantage Investments advised on the transaction.Mitra, founded in 2023 and operated by Nishpra Community Solutions, sells flour, pulses, rice, spices, oils, and instant mixes. It operates across 38 cities with over 40,000 retail outlets and 500 distributors.The merger creates an integrated food platform covering seed development, crop cultivation, processing, and branded consumer products. The subsequent IPO is intended to fund capacity expansion and support nationwide distribution growth.

Between May-22 and Aug-25, Mitra has raised funding from Arjun Vaidya, BestVantage Investments, and others.
