Intas & Dr Reddy's join race to buy US-based biotech firm Athenex

India-basedIntas Pharmaceuticals and Dr Reddy's Laboratories are in talks to acquire a controlling stake in US-based biotechnology firm Athenex Inc for $200-250 million. The two Indian pharma companies are competing with a handful of mid-market healthcare-focused private equity funds in the US for the deal.
