LEAP India acquires fellow supply chain services firm Chep
LEAP India has acquired fellow Mumbai-based supply chain service provider Chep India Pvt Ltd (CIPL). The acquisition includes the transfer of CIPL's assets, customer base and team to LEAP India.CIPL's asset-pooling expertise and shared-use platform will integrate with LEAP India's services across FMCG, automotive, retail, and e-commerce sectors.LEAP Group, comprising Taron Material Handling Equipments Pvt Ltd as a subsidiary and the newly acquired CIPL, will now operate 33 warehouses, with over 11 million assets and 6000+ customer touchpoints.
