Mahindra to exit Japan-based farm equipment JV with Mitsubishi

Mahindra & Mahindra is withdrawing from its agricultural equipment joint venture, Matsue City (Japan)-based Mitsubishi Mahindra Agricultural Machinery. The joint venture is between Mahindra & Mahindra and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, a part of the Mitsubishi Group.Founded in 1914, Mitsubishi Mahindra Agricultural Machinery plans to gradually wind down its research, development, production, and sales of agricultural machinery globally. A full exit from the segment is scheduled by the first half of fiscal 2027.
