MakeMyTrip to acquire majority stake in tour operator Flamingo Transworld
Online travel platform MakeMyTrip is to acquire a majority stake in Gujarat-based tour operator Flamingo Transworld .Founded in 1996, Flamingo Transworld is a tour operator offering domestic and international group tour packages. It has a presence in western and central India, specifically across Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh, operating through a network of 51 offices.Through this acquisition MakeMy Trip plans to expand its holiday packages business and reach customers in regional markets.
