Manipal Hospitals scouts for acquisitions

Bengaluru-based Manipal Health Enterprises is planning a significant expansion across Telangana, Keralam, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Goa, and Eastern India, including West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, and Sikkim.Manipal Health operates 49 hospitals and 13,037 licensed beds across 14 states and Union Territories as of March 31, 2026. The firm plans to integrate a physical and digital healthcare model, alongside the implementation of a unified hospital information system to connect administrative and clinical workflows. The firm focuses on six specialities: cardiac sciences, oncology, neurosciences, gastro sciences, orthopaedics, and renal sciences, which accounted for over 64% of its inpatient revenue in the previous fiscal year. The company intends to add approximately 2,426 licensed beds by 2030 to further its reach.

Between Sep 2010 and Jun 2025, Manipal Hospitals had attracted about $ 4288 M from Kotak Alternate, Faering Capital, TrueNorth, TPG Capital, Temasek, Morgan Stanley, NIIF, Mubadala Investment, Novo Holdings, KKR.For FY25, Manipal Hospitals had reported about INR 3,104 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 535 Cr in PAT.
