Marengo Asia acquires Gujarat-based Sunshine Global Hospitals

Ahmedabad-based Marengo Asia Hospitals has acquired Sunshine Global Hospitals which has a combined capacity of 350 beds in Surat and Vadodara.With the acquisition, Marengo will now operate 8 hospitals with a cumulative capacity of 2,500 beds, supported by a team of over 900 doctors and 5,200 employees.

In 2021, Samara Capital, Havells Family Investment Office, and Godrej Family Investment Office set up Marengo Asia Healthcare, a platform to operate multispecialty hospitals.
