Meat delivery startup Licious acquires My Chicken and More

Temasek-backed, Bengaluru-based meat and seafood delivery startup Licious has acquired fellow Bengaluru-based My Chicken and More , which runs a chain of offline stores in the city. The deal will be through a mix of cash and equity, with an earnout component attached.My Chicken and More was founded by S Mahesh of Shakti Foods in 2007. It sells a range of poultry, fish and seafood, mutton, and eggs to both retail customers and institutional clients. The firm has 22 stores across Bengaluru which will become a part of Licious. Mahesh will join Licious and will be with the company for at least four years.
