Metropolis Healthcare to acquire Agra-based diagnostic chain, Scientific Pathology
Mumbai-headquartered, listed pathology laboratory chain Metropolis Healthcare has acquired Agra-based Scientific Pathology (operated by Dr. Ashok Kumar Sharma’s Scientific Pathology, a sole proprietorship firm), through its wholly owned subsidiary, Metropolis Clinical Pathology Private Limited. The acquisition is aimed at expanding Metropolis’ presence in Western Uttar Pradesh.As part of the agreement, Metropolis Clinical Pathology will take over the laboratories and collection centers of Scientific Pathology in Agra and nearby areas through a slump sale transaction.
