Natco Pharma scouting for buys to boost domestic biz

Hyderabad-based Natco is looking for acquisitions to strengthen its domestic business. The company is targeting entities with a revenue of INR 100-200 crore. In January, Natco's US subsidiary had acquired the US-based Dash Pharmaceuticals LLC, a pharmaceutical marketing and distribution entity, for USD 18 million in cash. To improve its base earnings, Natco plans to further strengthen its subsidiary business and enhance its domestic reach through an acquisition or with new launches. Natco is also looking at expanding its agrochemicals business.
