PDS acquires 51% stake in DBS Lifestyle

Mumbai-based, publicly listed fashion company PDS Ltd has acquired a 51% stake in DBS Lifestyle, a Delhi-based design company. Founded by Divya Suri and Bhawnish Suri, DBS Lifestyle LLP operates in fashion and home categories. It serves over 200 fashion and 150+ home clients globally along with brands, retailers, and e-commerce players in India. DBS owns the Italian studio Giacomo Barzaghi, one of the oldest and most reputed textile design studio based in Como, Italy. PDS will invest INR 21 crore (USD 2.6 M) in the new entity Pangram Brands Private Limited - which will acquire the existing business of DBS - and will be renamed DBS Lifestyle (India) Pvt. Ltd. Investec India and Maple Capital Advisors acted as financial advisors for PDS and DBS respectively.
