Rainbow Children’s Medicare to acquire 76% stake in IVF-focused Pratiksha Hospital at Rs.171-Cr valu

Hyderabad-based Rainbow Children’s Medicare Ltd (RCML) is to acquire a 76% stake in Guwahati-based Pratiksha Hospital at an enterprise valuation of INR 171 crore. The promoter's family of the Pratiksha will retain the balance share.The transaction will be fully funded via RCML’s cash reserves and internal accruals.With this acquisition, RCML’s capacity will grow by 150 beds, taking its total network to around 2,185 beds across 21 hospitals in 8 cities. Following the acquisition, the hospital will be rebranded as ‘Pratiksha Rainbow Children’s Hospital’.
