Refurbished smartphones seller ControlZ acquires pre-owned marketplace Overcart
ControlZ, a player in renewed-smartphones, has acquired Gurugram-based Overcart, a marketplace for overstock, unboxed, re-conditioned, and pre-owned merchandise. Overcart provides return management and liquidation services to major e-commerce companies, manufacturers, and retailers. Through this acquisition, ControlZ will be able to expand its business outreach through the extended supply chain and liquidation services.
From the Venture Intelligence M&A Deals Database: In February-2020, Overcart had been acquired by Gurugram-based refurbished devices seller PreLoved Device in the cash and stock deal, reportedly valued at INR 200 Cr.
