Route Connect acquires AI driven engagement platform Heltar Technologies

Mumbai-based Route Connect , a subsidiary of publicly listed Route Mobile, is to acquire the assets of Heltar Technologies , a Gurugram-based provider of AI-driven omnichannel customer engagement platform. The transaction will be funded through the internal accruals of Route Mobile.Heltar offers a no-code, prompt-driven platform that automates communication workflows and provides chatbot and automation capabilities across WhatsApp, RCS, and voice. The acquisition includes the transfer of the Heltar brand, intellectual property, technology platform, customers, and employees to Route Connect. The founding team of Heltar will join Route Mobile to continue driving the growth and development of the platform's engagement capabilities.Route Mobile plans to utilize the acquisition to expand its non-SMS offerings, including its chatbot, voice, and analytics capabilities, to its enterprise client base in India and global markets.
