New Delhi-based Sirona Hygiene has acquired women's safety brand Impower in an all-cash deal. Founded by Akshay Dua and Tanisha Pant in 2018, the target firm makes the Impower pepper spray, claimed to be a bestselling brand on e-commerce marketplaces such as Amazon and Flipkart. The deal will help Sirona, which sells feminine hygiene products, enter the female safety segment. It will invest INR 30 crore in Impower over the next two years.

From the Venture Intelligence PE-VC Deal Database: In Apr-21, PeeBuddy (the flagship brand of Sirona Hygiene) had attracted $3-M from IAN Fund, NB Ventures, and others.
