Sodexo in talks to acquire Shashi Catering

Sodexo is in negotiations to acquire Vadodara-based catering services firm Shashi Catering Services . The potential transaction would represent the largest acquisition in the Indian contract food services and facilities management sector. PwC is serving as the advisor for the transaction.Founded in 1992, Shashi Catering Services, provides food and facilities management operations through five entities with a combined annual revenue exceeding INR 700 Cr. The acquisition is intended to strengthen the presence and scale of Sodexo in the Indian market, particularly in western India, where the target firm has established a long-standing operational history.
