Space-tech player GalaxEye acquires satellite platform developer StarOps

Space technology startup GalaxEye has acquired Bengaluru-based spacecraft engineering company StarOps. The transaction integrates StarOps’ proprietary technologies, qualified satellite platforms, and systems engineering expertise into the operations of GalaxEye. The deal also involves the transition of the engineering team to GalaxEye.Founded in 2022, StarOps focuses on the development of satellite platforms and the indigenisation of spacecraft technologies. The company maintains expertise across mission operations, propulsion, flight computing, guidance and navigation, and electrical systems. StarOps claims to have achieved over 66% indigenisation across its satellite systems, contributing to a reduction in reliance on global supply chains.
