Travel portal EaseMyTrip to acquire 49% in Planet Education Australia

Publicly listed, Delhi-based travel booking platform EaseMyTrip is to acquire a 49% stake in Sydney-based education services provider Planet Education Australia Pty Ltd , to foray into international study tourism. The acquisition is expected to enable EaseMyTrip to provide comprehensive education and travel services for students.Founded in 1999, Planet Education offers study abroad services, including expert counselling, university placements, and visa assistance and has a presence across 25 offices globally and connections with over 350 universities worldwide.
