Undone: Upgrad's acquisition of test-prep co Exampur

Edtech unicorn upGrad's acquisition of Exampur, an online startup meant to prepare clients for competitive examinations, has fallen through. In August 2022, upGrad said that it was acquiring Exampur in a cash-and-share swap deal. Since its inception, upGrad has acquired 14 companies under verticals such as upskilling and reskilling programmes, test prep, courses for college students, study abroad segment, and short skilling courses.
