Vasant Chemicals acquired by German firm ICIG
Frankfurt, Germany-based ICIG has acquired a majority stake in Vasant Chemicals , a Hyderabad-based company specializing in the production of Specialty Chemicals and Pharma Intermediates. Vasant Chemicals' promoter G.K.B Chowdary will now hold a minority stake in the company,Vasath Chemicals, which has manufacturing facilities in Hyderabad (Jeedimetla) and Visakhapatnam (Atchutapuram), will be integrated into WeylChem Group, the Fine Chemicals platform of ICIG.Ambit acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Vasant Chemicals for this transaction. PwC (Germany) and Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP acted as the financial due diligence advisors to ICIG and Vasant Chemicals, respectively. Dentons Link Legal and S&R Associates acted as the legal counsels to ICIG and Vasant Chemicals, respectively.
