Vernacular learning platform Adda247 acquires test prep app Veeksha
Google-backed, Gurugram-headquartered vernacular learning platform Adda247 has acquired Ahmedabad-based Veeksha, a 3D experiential learning-based test preparation enabler. Veeksha would merge with Adda247. Veeksha creates immersive 3D mathematics and science content on digital devices. The firm claims that its modules are cross-platform and can be used by teachers as well as students. Founded in 2016 by Anil Nagar and Saurabh Bansal, Adda247 offers courses to prepare for exams for jobs in public sector banks, government departments, and the Indian Railways. The company focuses on students in Tier II and III cities. It claims to have over 2 million paid users.
