Wipro buys residual 51% stake in Qatar unit

Listed IT Services firm Wipro Ltd has acquired the residual 51% equity stake, held by Qatar-based JV partner , in Wipro Doha LLC for 1,02,000 Qatar Rial (about USD 28,022) in an all-cash deal. Incorporated in 2014, the target provides information technology services and is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of Wipro.
